They should be level 6-7 at that time and there are five players. So, long story short - I wanted to make a Lesser Servant of the Dark Powers for them to fight a few of. So, anyway, even if we're still online (likely) I wanted to keep the idea on Roll20 regardless. To be honest I only did any of this when I was prepping in The Before Times when we met in person and my wife gave me a cool set of graveyard minis I spent a lot of time painting, and a friend gave me a cool Lovecraft inspired mini I was going to put an LED light in to glow in various colors - a giant crystal with tentacles. There will be a large glowing organic thing there to destroy and I wanted it guarded by Lovecraftian fun becasue (besides the Dark Powers having that flavor) I'm thinking of linking CoS to another possible campaign in the future that would be more Lovecraftian and take them up to 20. At first it will seem like a normal graveyard until then get into the Crypt wherein they will find a pocket dimension infused with the edges of the Dark Powers. The players will need to undo the curse Strahd put on it.but in doing they will be taken into another plane that surrounds Barovia like a shell. They were desecrated by Strahd to prove his desires and then the power from it twisted when the Dark Powers carved the area into the demi-plane. My homebrew addition is that Strahd's power over the land has a focal point at the monoliths behind the Old Windmill. Background - so my players are getting closer to the end, and I was inspired some time ago from all the extras in using the Fanes but took a different direction.
